Kevin Schott and Carrie Hodge’s love story began in the unlikeliest of times—during the pandemic of 2020. Both suffering from cabin fever, they turned to Match.com and found each other. Their first Zoom date on May 17, 2020, was full of laughter and connection. A month later, on June 17, 2020, they met in person for a Wednesday night date. Carrie suspected Kevin chose a work night to have an easy out if things didn’t go well, but the date was a success, lasting until 11 pm. Guess he didn't need to leave early after all!

Since then, their lives have been filled with adventures. They’ve explored the grandeur of Biltmore, marveled at the lights of New York City, and shared unforgettable moments in DC, New Mexico, and Minnesota. Their shared love of cosplay brought creativity and joy into their relationship.

In May 2023, their little family grew when they adopted Ellie, a spirited and lovable “chaos tornado” cat who keeps them on their toes.

On October 13, 2024 at Castle & Key, Kevin asked Carrie if she wanted to continue their adventures as husband and wife. Carrie, of course, said yes!
